Special Session in Memory of Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kadir

A long-standing symposium bringing together academics, researchers and industry professionals who contribute to clay and ceramic science.

"With his scientific contributions, the many academics he mentored, and his international achievements, Prof. Dr. Kadir made significant contributions to his field. He proudly represented our country by being elected as a Council Member of The Clay Minerals Society (USA)."

This event is organized in memory of Prof. Dr. Selahattin Kadir, our esteemed member, a faculty member of the Department of Geological Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, and former head of the same department.

Renowned for his discipline and diligence, and committed to mentoring young academics, Prof. Dr. Kadir authored numerous articles and publications. Most recently, he achieved a significant distinction by being elected as a Council Member of The Clay Minerals Society (USA, www.clays.org), founded in 1962.
